Battle in Gamma - Sept. 23, 2007, 11:08 a.m.
Greetings Ladies and Gentlewolves!
On saturday the 22nd of september the flashing of guns and fields of debris could once again be seen in the skies above Crete as WP squadrons, including an NNK ace, and combined opd/AuW forces clashed in what is described as probably one of the bigger fights so far.
Though a few brave and curious pilots approached the scene to watch from the relative safety of the docking ring, most uninvolved pilots stayed as far away as possible.
After a few hours of intense fighting however, several opd and AuW pilots were recalled for as of yet unknown reasons, and the fight slowed down to a skirmish between the few remaining squadrons. After it became clear that those recalled forces would not return anytime soon and the remaining opd and AuW pilots no longer posed a serious threat to the Omicron Gamma system, the WP squadrons also slowly returned home to the ANS Europa for a debriefing and a well deserved night's rest.
